Indices at day's high; Bajaj Finserv, Titan Company top gainers

Indian benchmark indices were trading higher during the noon trading session as IT and FMCG space added a percent each while the midcap and smallcap indices are also trading in the green.

Among individuals, the share price of Pennar Industries jumped over 12 percent intraday after the company bagged orders worth Rs 517 crore across its business verticals during the quarter ending September 30, 2020.

Bharti Infratel share price jumped 13 percent after the company said its proposed merger with Indus Towers to create a mega tower company has been completed

At 14:38 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 43876.07 up by 276.11 points or by 0.63 % and then NSE Nifty was at 12854.5 up by 82.8 points or by 0.65 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 44013.02 and intraday low of 43453.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 12892.45 and intraday low of 12730.25

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 8456.45,+8.11%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 1353.90,+4.76%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 4710.25,+3.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1890.30,+3.58%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 17391.75,+2.71%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1908.05,-3.27%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 71.45,-0.90%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 502.95,-0.88%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2115.45,-0.67%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 813.50,-0.51%), among others.
