Sensex slips in red; Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank top losers

Trimming all the early gains, domestic bourses slipped in red during the late noon trading session as investors are keeping an eye on PM Narendra Modi's address to the nation at 4 pm.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 34904.72 down by -56.8 points or by -0.16 % and then NSE Nifty was at 10320.15 up by 7.75 points or by 0.08 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 35233.91 and intraday low of 34846.88 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 10401.05 and intraday low of 10316.4

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 17253.65,+3.19%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 5835.00,+2.69%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 327.65,+1.99%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 349.70,+1.91%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 3873.15,+1.70%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 473.35,-1.75%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1060.65,-1.46%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 175.90,-1.32%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 473.75,-1.31%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1703.15,-1.16%), among others.

Among the sectors, Auto index was at 15257.81 up by 141.89 points or by 0.94%. Bosch Ltd. (Rs. 11436.45,+4.40%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 5835.00,+2.69%), MRF Ltd. (Rs. 66830.00,+2.51%), Eicher Motors Ltd. (Rs. 18420.55,+1.71%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 2534.00,+1.16%),.
