Indices trade in the green; Titan up 4%

Domestic bourses opened higher on Friday as investors picked stocks after Thursday's fall. Bajaj Finance, L&T and Tata Steel are the top gainers while RIL, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank are the most active stocks.

Bharat Electronics share price gained over 3 percent after Jefferies maintained buy on the stock with target of Rs 130 per share. It is of the view that the impact of lowered margin on nominated projects began in FY20 adding that operational leverage and cost saving indigenisation benefits will offset the impact.

At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 43736.11 up by 136.15 points or by 0.31 % and then NSE Nifty was at 12812.3 up by 40.6 points or by 0.32 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 43889.4 and intraday low of 43648.75 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 12855.2 and intraday low of 12784.4

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 1346.90,+4.22%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 8014.95,+2.46%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 17275.30,+2.02%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 91.50,+1.95%), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 2366.60,+1.80%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1933.30,-1.99%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 807.35,-1.27%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 71.20,-1.25%), State Bank of India (Rs. 237.65,-0.88%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 475.25,-0.65%), among others.

Among the sectors, Realty index was at 1993.3 up by 22.58 points or by 1.15%. Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 665.00,+2.54%), Oberoi Realty Ltd. (Rs. 467.00,+2.54%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1060.50,+2.10%), Brigade Enterprises Ltd. (Rs. 221.05,+1.75%), Sunteck Realty Ltd. (Rs. 272.50,+1.60%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 2202 , shares advanced were 1360 while 713 shares declined and 129 were unchanged.
