Equity benchmark Sensex continued to hover in red on Wednesday as global investor sentiment dampened after the US said its initial trade deal with China does not include tariff rollback.
IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, SBI, Infosys, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank were the among the top losers in the Sensex pack, shedding up to 3 per cent.
At 10:25 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 41757.19 down by -195.44 points or by -0.47 % and then NSE Nifty was at 12292.65 down by -69.65 points or by -0.56 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 41969.86 and intraday low of 41723.46 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 12350.3 and intraday low of 12290
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 1184.25,+1.50%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 2441.50,+1.36%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (Rs. 3131.20,+0.96%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 1824.00,+0.30%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1681.95,+0.28%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1424.90,-3.79%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 767.00,-1.08%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 532.00,-1.01%), State Bank of India (Rs. 324.65,-0.99%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 4439.00,-0.99%), among others.
