The equity benchmark indices remained under pressure and continued to fall in the late afternoon session on Monday. The shares of Sun TV Network have rallied 11 per cent to Rs 577 per share on Monday in an otherwise weak market after the company reported net profit growth of 32 per cent at Rs 351 crore in December 2018 quarter (Q3FY19), on back of healthy revenue growth. The company’s revenue was up 32 per cent at Rs 904 crore over the previous year quarter.
At 14:26 hours, the SENSEX was trading at 36435.17 down by -111.31 points or by -0.3 per cent and then NSE Nifty was at 10904.1 down by -39.5 points or by -0.36 per cent. The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 36588.41 and intraday low of 36300.48 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 10930.9 and intraday low of 10857.1.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 654.25,-4.21%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 139.95,-2.47%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1256.00,-1.67%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 2659.55,-1.66%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (Rs. 2887.75,-1.52%), among others.
Among sectors, IT index was at 15703.39 up by 79.32 points or by 0.51%. Subex Ltd. (Rs. 5.92,+4.96%), Rolta India Ltd. (Rs. 3.97,+4.75%), Brightcom Group Ltd. (Rs. 2.92,+4.29%), D-Link (India) Ltd.
