Bharti Airtel extends fall; scrip hits 52-week low

Shares of Bharti Airtel slipped over 3 per cent, hitting 52-week low, on the Bombay Stock Exchange as investors sentiment were dented after rival Reliance Jio (RJio) launched a new unlimited postpaid plan on Thursday May 10.

Weighed down by the development, stocks of the company declined as much as 3.12 per cent and touched 52-week low of Rs 355.10 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

In a similar trend, shares of the firm were trading 2.08 per cent lower at Rs 359.95 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 35,019.30, down 129.82 points, or 0.37 per cent at 11:35 hours.
